Zuzanna Elster is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, in the harp class of Professor Urszula Mazurek (2008, honours diploma) and of the “Konzertexamen” post-graduate programme at the “Hanns Eisler” Hochschule für Musik in Berlin in the harp class of Professor Maria Graf (2011, honours diploma). She has also studied with Germaine Lorenzini in Lyon. Elster has refined her skills during master classes led by E. Bennett, J. Bouskova, S. Kanga, M. Graf, G. Lorenzini, S. McDonald, C. Michel, N. Shamayeva and H. Storck.
Since 2008 she has been employed as assistant in the harp class of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She has been teaching harp at the Fryderyk Chopin State Music School Complex in Warsaw since 2009. In 2012 she obtained the title of doctor of the music arts.

Zuzanna Elster is a laureate of national and international harp competitions. She has twice obtained scholarships from the Minister of Culture (2003, 2004) and from the Societé Generale bank (2008). She received a Magna cum Laude medal from the Rector of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (2009) and an Individual Award 2nd class from the Director of CEA (2010). In 2011 she was a juror at the 1st National “Miniatures for Celtic Harp” Competition.

Zuzanna Elster performs in Poland and abroad. She performed in, among others, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and Russia. She has also played in the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, in the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz, at the philharmonic halls in Łódź and Lublin, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw and in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio.

She has performed as soloist with the Brandenburger Symphoniker, the Polish Radio Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Lublin Philharmonic and with others. She plays regularly with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra. Zuzanna Elster has recorded for the Polish Radio and Television.
