The orchestra is made up of students and graduates of our school. The conductor of the orchestra since 1992 is Małgorzata Sapiecha-Muzioł.

During each school year the orchestra prepares several programs and performs more than ten symphonic and sacred vocal work concerts. These have become a mainstay of the cultural events calendar in Wałbrzych and Szczawno Zdrój. These include Christmas, Lent, New Year’s, charity and national holiday concerts.

For several years, the orchestra has been cooperating with the “Eurorchestries” Federation, taking part in festivals in Charente Maritime (France) and in Košice (Slovakia). The orchestra has performed several times at the “Young Classic” festival in Wrocław.

It is regularly invited by the Wrocław University of Technology to perform at all kinds of official events at the University (inaugurations of the academic year, inaugural concerts, honoris causa degree ceremonies etc.).

The Symphony Orchestra of the Stanisław Moniuszko Music School Complex in Wałbrzych has also recorded a CD of W.A. Mozart’s Requiem.
